Elm Park Labs Unveils MentorXR at 35th Annual ELSO Conference

September 2024 – Elm Park Labs showcased its groundbreaking VR training solution, MentorXR, at the 35th Annual Extracorporeal Life Support Organization (ELSO) Conference in late September. The conference, held this year in Detroit, brought together over 1,500 medical professionals from across the country. Elm Park Labs, alongside strategic partners Comprehensive Care Services and ECLS 360, demonstrated how MentorXR is transforming the way medical teams train for high-stakes, real-world ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) procedures.

MentorXR offers a unique, low-risk training environment that allows healthcare professionals to practice and refine their skills in ECMO scenarios. The application was designed with a “Teach, Learn, Assess” approach that supports ongoing skill development while helping users gain proficiency and confidence. This cost-effective, immersive training solution complements in-person learning and ensures medical teams are better prepared for critical situations.

“We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to demonstrate MentorXR to such a large audience of ECMO and perfusion specialists,” said Kim Hanke, CEO of Elm Park Labs. “The feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, and it was inspiring to see so many medical professionals excited about how MentorXR can make a meaningful impact on medical training.”
