Elm Park Labs Hosts XR Association Workshop on Transforming Healthcare with Immersive Technology
August 2023 – Elm Park Labs welcomed the XR Association (XRA) and leaders across the healthcare industry for a one-day workshop at our facility in Plymouth, Michigan.
The event, “Transforming Healthcare with Immersive Technology,” took place on August 8, 2023. Clinicians, educators, and innovators alike joined us to learn about how XR is innovating across clinical training, patient care, and patient education.
The morning session included demonstrations of VR and AR applications, including our virtual operating room. Participants saw firsthand how realistic, data-driven XR simulations can improve readiness and healthcare outcomes.
Our hybrid afternoon event brought ample discussion as attendees joined us for a series of interactive breakout sessions. Together, we examined the challenges and opportunities of scaling XR across healthcare.
